Pass it on...

So, At our homeschool co-op each family is supposed to teach two classes a year. (Previously I've taught Pet Care for K and pre K, and two Narnia classes for 3-6. I love teaching. It's the greatest thing!) Well, the winter session(which starts on the 11th) I'll be teaching a class on knitting for the 6th-12th graders...I'm so excited! Seriously, the opportunity to pass along my most beloved craft. Even if none of the kids ever picks up a knitting needle outside the class, i'll still have great time doing it :-) I've got nine kids in my class, and I couldn't be happier! We'll be making bags, including dying and hand-felting them.

In other news, I've got a secret. Nope, can't tell, cause it's a secret! But I will say that it is coming along quite nicely;-)

And, an unrelated question, but one I am quite interested in, What are some of your favourite colour combinations?

OMG, you are going to have so much fun. Are they using wool? I've been reading about felting, but haven't tried it yet. And I have not dyed wool. I think I need to come to your class. 9 students! that's great. Hey, what's up with the secret thing? Now I'll have to bug you about it. That's just how I am. I'll have to think about the color thing.
God bless you
Nancy
